👉 What happened: In April last year, Rugby Australia reported a $4.5 million loss. Now, Rugby Australia is looking to raise up to $250 million from private equity firms to help grow the organisation.

👉 What else: It’s rumoured that Cricket Australia is also looking to raise capital from private equity - so the overlap between sport and capital markets has never been stronger.
