Red Bull's Formula One success gives its revenue wiiiiiings to keep flying high

Red Bull has been very successful this year in Formula One, and this winning streak has seen an enormous boost to Red Bull drink sales.

👉 Background: Red Bull is the energy drink company that was founded in Austria back in 1984. Red Bull first dipped its wings into Formula One back in 1995 when it sponsored the Sauber team. But then, it actually started its own team in 2004.

👉 What happened: This year, Red Bull has been very successful this year in Formula One. In fact, they've won 19 of the 20 Grand Prix weekends.

👉 What else: And this winning streak has seen an enormous boost to Red Bull drink sales. And, as the energy drink industry gets more and more competitive, Red Bull needs to continue finding new avenues to grow.

💡Red Bull sponsors a heap of sporting teams and events like MotoGP teams, a number of teams in the Dakar Rally off-road motor cycle racing, as well as the X Games.  

💡But the F1 team's success is the biggest marketing impact that Red Bull has. And, it's no surprise that Red Bull saw its overall revenue jump by more than 20% last year.
